Turning Point

In 1999, I up loaded a writing titled “Turning Point.”  It dealt with the fact that the year 2000 would come in as a “normal” year and the forecast computer meltdown would not happen.

Turning Point came to pass in exactly the same manner that the article described.  However, the year 2000 was a turning point in the history of America.

Some people dance too close to the flames and consequently get burned.  They take one step beyond safety.  That happened in 2000.

The year was a political nightmare that highlighted the fact that far too many, almost half of Americans, now want socialism.  They are tired of America the world leader, and want our nation to be led by a dysfunctional government known as the United Nations.

American is not easily found in Biblical Prophecy.  When it is supposedly found, it is impotent, and has no strength.

How could that happen?

A friend of mine who is among America’s greatest generation has told me the when he got off the ship returning from Europe, he looked around and came to the conclusion that America must fall, we must attain third-world status.  American socialists are gaining great power and leading us into beggar status.

Ezekiel 38:13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? (KJV)

That verse about the young lions reflects the impotence in which America will fall.

The Roman Empire was great.  You may find it difficult to believe, but the Roman Empire did not fall, it moved to Byzantium and Rome became an impotent city.  Our job base, the manufacturing that made America has begun a migration.  Will America become as impotent as Rome did?

We have passed the turning point.  We have come too close to the flame.  Those of the faith should not bemoan the loss of political prestige.  Instead, we should rejoice because in our seeming weakness, God will show His power.

I am fully convinced that Christ’s return will be earlier than some christians (small c) wish.  Many Church attendees do not wait for Christ to come again with joy.  Instead, they wait with apprehension, not being certain of their salvation.
